About PwDI

Organisation Structure

People with Disabilities in Ireland (PwDI) is structured in the "bottom up" approach. We believe that every member should have an equal say in the organisation and its direction.

Members form network committees in each county and nominate board representatives. They also employ a national office to carry out policy enacted by the national board and support networks in their work.

Members of PwDI are the strength of the organization. Local representation allows PwDI to stay true to the people its serves.

You can find out more about PwDI networks in the Network Section.

National Board and Network Committees are supported in their work by the National Office.

Organisation Structure of PwDI. At the top level there are 32 members on the National Board. The second level, Network Comittees is made up of a maximum of 15 members. The bottom level is made up of all Republic of Ireland PwDI members.
