Jenny Wynne - untitled - Textile fabric dress
"I have focused on "The Dress" as a vehicle for exploring my femininity as a person with a disability. My most recent work "The Dress" has been made to fit only me. The fabric was sourced from Holland. There is a "flap" on the front, which covers the belt of my wheelchair. This is a challenge of the practical versus the aesthetic in contemporary fashion. The colour green is very significant to me and work is still in progress."
