ACCESSIBLE TOILETS -ARE FACILITIES EQUAL?

Are accessible toilets for people with disabilities equal in facilities to all other public toilets, especially those in hotels, restaurants and pubs?

Many disabled people have been asked this question by PWDI spokesperson in Louth Malachy Foots and as yet not one has noticed anything amiss.

Malachy himself didn't see anything missing until he was browsing the Disability Rights Commission website when there, in full colour, he had the answer.
The site shows a picture of an accessible toilet - complete with a condom vending machine in it!
Louth PWDI can report that no such machine, although commonplace in public toilets in pubs, restaurants and hotels, is in place in accessible toilets.

Louth PWDI asks, why not? If all services and facilities are to be equally applied to people with disabilities, when will we see such a machine as the norm in accessible toilets?
