Over 200 delegates attended the Speak for Yourself Advocacy Seminar held in the Ormonde Hotel, Kilkenny on Tuesday, May 25. The Seminar catered for delegates from counties Wexford, Carlow, Kildare and Waterford as well as Kilkenny.
After an introduction by PwDI Chief Executive Michael Ringrose, the opening address was given by PwDI Vice-Chairperson Lotti McClure.
Keynote speakers were Angela Kerins, Chairperson of the National Disability Authority and Helen Laharte of Comhairle. The end-user speaker was John Redican, PwDI Kerry Network.
